The Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park is the best place in town to be for the 2025 St. Augustine History Festival, May 7-11!

May 7–11, all day: Come see rarely observed pre-Columbian skills in our Native American Village. You will also enjoy our black powder historic weapons demonstrations – do you know what an arquebus is? Don’t feel badly if you don’t, because most people can’t even pronounce the name!

May 9 & 10, all day: Don’t forget Drake’s Raid Encampment is happening this year at the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park! Friday, May 8, and Friday, May 9, reenactors from all over the southeastern U.S. converge on St. Augustine to take part in reliving Sir Francis Drake’s 1586 raid on the nation’s oldest city. See how they live, what they wore, what they ate – ask any question you like. No one knows this history better than these dedicated folk!
